I purchased my fireplace (just love my modern fireplace and get many compliments on it) from Perfection when I remodeled my house about 8 years ago. I (try to remember to) have Perfection come out once a year to check and clean my fireplace. It is an inexpensive way to keep the fireplace working correctly and looking nice. The last time I had Perfection out was after a lot of people in Houston had lost power for an extended period of time. Fortunately for me, I had not lost power, but I asked the Perfection maintenance guy to show me how to light my fireplace in case I do lose power, since my fireplace has an electric starter. In great detail he explained to me how to convert the fireplace from the electric starter to operating on batteries, and warned to remove the batteries as soon as the power comes back on or else the batteries will corrode. That was incredibly helpful information to me and, since I don’t have a generator and don’t plan to get one, at least – if I lose power in the winter – I will be able to stay warm with the fireplace, will be able to cook on my gas cooktop, and will be able to have light with my battery-operated lanterns. And, of course, I always keep a number of fully charged battery packs for my electronics. I highly recommend Perfection for purchasing, installing, and maintaining your fireplace :)

I didn’t know what was wrong with my gas fireplace, would not start, the woman that answered the phone was friendly & kind, to me customer service is where it starts & ends. She told me exactly what to expect & the charge up front unless I needed parts of course. The technician that came out took extra precaution working around my limestone, very efficient & checked everything, even for leaks, he cleaned bam it started working again. I appreciate the honesty of not trying to sell me something I did not need, he explained what he did and how to keep it in running order. I definitely recommend this company and will be using them in the future, I wouldn’t give it a second thought, they will be my go to from now on!

Wanted to compliment the installers this morning, pouring rain and they showed up with a great attitude and installed the fireplace. This company did a great install of my new gas unit for my fireplace 18 months ago. I had an issue today and when I called they immediately sent me a very detailed set of troubleshooting instructions, at no cost & did not try to sell me costly services, and within 5 minutes the issue was fully fixed! GREAT SERVICE!

Used them 3 times over 16 years. They have a tuneup service where they clean everything and make sure the gas is calibrated correctly. Very professional. Call in summer as they are busy when everyone wants to use their fireplace.
